Lisa Menhenett from Murray Dairy talks on maximising water productivity on irrigated dairy farms

Lisa Menhenett, Regional Extension Officer with Murray Dairy talks about the Smarter Irrigation for Profit phase 2 project which is running demonstration sites using technology such as soil moisture probes and satellite information to maximise production per megalitre of water. The project will host numerous field days to show producers how to improve irrigation scheduling, water application and production. Through engagement with the extension teams producers will learn about technology which they can use to improve their productivity per megalitre. This site is a cropping site with irrigated Maize.
