SIP2 Dairy Farm Update with Nick Ryan

Nick Ryan has been working with the team at Agriculture Victoria and is confident that the system they have developed works. The trial site on Nick’s farm has an automation system at the top of the bay and bay sensor at the bottom. The model has enabled them to fine turn timing and duration with technology. Nick feels that the research is important for the whole region it enables improved efficiency, and data shows that surface irrigation can be as efficient as anything when operated using this system.
