SISCOweb: Cruise Control for Surface Irrigation Part 1: Tools and Technologies

SISCOweb is a surface irrigation optimisation model developed by Malcolm Gillies from the University of Southern Qld. In this series of videos Malcolm talks with Joseph Foley from the University of Southern Qld about the application of SISCOweb. In Part 1, Tools and Technologies Malcolm and Joseph discuss the use of water advance sensors to monitor water advance down a row and the use of channel level sensors to monitor water levels in the channel needed to calculate flow rates.
